Coastal Northeast Storm - Fall Surf fishing Tournament Implications
A coastal northeast storm is moving into the area on Monday. It will bring high winds, rain, coastal flooding and the potential for severe erosion to the beaches.
We will be monitoring the storm and its potential impacts on the Surf Fishing tournament that is scheduled for Saturday.
The northeast winds are forecasted to last through Thursday. We will be consulting with Delaware State Parks staff in anticipation of making an announcement about any closures of the beaches and the the status of the tournament by noon on Thursday.
